New BFF

I bought the old Roku 2 for myself for Christmas 2012. Liked it well enough, but it started freezing a lot. It still worked, but I wasn't getting what I used to get out of it. This past Christmas I got a Sony Bluray/media player to replace it. I hated it so much I named it Stosh Piznarski. So I recently went out and spent food money on the new Roku 2, because it had a new processor I wanted to get to know. I love it so much. I love that my information from my account transferred seamlessly, I love the remote, I love that you can arrange and customize which apps you have on your home screen, and I love the over-all look of all of the apps I use regularly. There's only one add on the screen outside of the apps, and honestly, it's usually information I want (thanks for giving me the heads up about Rick and Morty, buddy). The only only only complaint I have, and I don't even really care about it, is that I think it's stupid to have shortcut buttons on the remote. I'm pretty sure I can pair a universal remote to it anyway, but I care so little I haven't even done it yet. You should probably buy one. Unless you hate being happy.

Second Roku for another room

When I wanted another device to watch movies, etc in another room of the house, the Roku 2 was an easy decision as the first one is easy to use with a quick, intuitive interface.

It plays the movie, videos fast , sometimes sounds doesn't come out in a video or movies but you just have to press the backbutton and you will get it....

I bought the Roku 2 in May15. I already had Roku 1. Compare to Roku 1, the Roku 2 is good and speed up in browsing channels. I like it.

Everything I Expected And More

Overall, an excellent product.
I purchased four devices locally and four devices online through Roku. After inadvertently buying the wrong unit for one of my televisions, I contacted Roku regarding their return policy. I found there customer support to be professional and courteous throughout the process, exceeding my expectations.

Purchased the roku 2 a few weeks ago. The main reason for purchasing was cut my cable down. So far I'm impressed.
