Excellent device!

I'm very happy with my purchase of the Roku 2. Now I have more television viewing choices than I'd imagined possible without a cable tv or satellite tv contract. It's easy to set up and takes very little time. The Roku 2 box sits in front of my tv and does not obstruct the view. (It's not very big.) Overall, it's definitely a great value.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Roku is not for everyone

I like Roku because I don't watch network shows and can get the news from other sourses. Two things that need to be changed about roku. The fonts are way too small and there is plenty of room to increase the size so the captions are easy to read. The other improvement; If you stop watching tv the show you were watch should be there when you continue. Good luck with that, you may never find it again.

Fast and responsive but wifi has issues

Device itself is great. Fast and responsive but the WiFi disconnects and reconnects constantly. I'm beginning to think that the WiFi hardware is defective. Same setup works fine on my Roku LT. Manily sling tv integration seems to have an issue with this as well as other apps. I.e. I'm able to stream cnn on my apple tv (and browse the net on other devices) while the roku says there's an Internet connection issue.....then reconnects a little later and resumes the stream.
I would recommend this to a friend!
