Good Alternative, But...

Good choice of channels, however, I was disappointed to find some channels I thought available live were only available video or tape. Difficult to find a complete channel line up while shopping. Find the remote and guide navigationally challenged

Great little tv tool!

I had read about Roku for years, but finally when ahead and purchased. I wanted it primarily to access ESPN3, which it does. It is also a great way to access Netflix and Amazon Prime. I love it. Easty to use. I had a little trouble activating it and needed an online chat to do so--but, with that help, got it done fairly quickly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This came with my Sling TV subscription. Many free channels available. Only problem I've encountered was Netflix stopped loading. I disconnected and reconnected and problem solved. Ive had it about 6 weeks. I like the wireless feature. No cables.

The only shortcoming I have experienced is the limited functions on the remote. (Well, other than having all the sources be for free;) I know there's a remote app to install on tablets and phones, and I have. But it turns out to be too complex for me to use easily. What I really want is an easy keyboard to look for things on Netflix and other sources.
