Excellent way to watch wholesome entertainment and other features. Like very much the wide variety of streaming channels; beats regular TV any day

Our family has been using this for a couple of months now. It's been great for streaming services including slightly more obscure ones like VidAngel and Beachbody On Demand. I was excited about the local file access as well. But was majorly disappointed. Plex is an okay service but not through a wireless connection. At least for the quality of video I have. Plus they want to much money for "premium features". Plugging an external drive into the Roku wasn't much better. The first movie I tried to play had no audio because the Roku couldn't decrypt it. So I plugged it into my Sony Blu-ray instead. Which is where it has stayed since.

Much better than Apple TV

My apple tv was struggling with keeping a connection and the apple remote was so small you could never find it, a real pain. This Roku I decided to try. I must say it is awesome, it keeps the connection, it continues from show to show without previews to have to fast forward through (because you just watched it) yet if you are just starting another episode on a new time, it does show you the "previously on".......
I have no complaints with the Roku and would highly recommend.
