New version Roku 2 less compatible

I previously own two Ruku 2 players. I purchased new Roku 2 as a replacement. The new Roku 2 kept losing connection. I thought it might have been my router, but the other Roku 2 was working fine. I returned new Roku 2. I believe it has something do with the different connection design. I have enjoyed your product but I believe more consideration should be given when upgrades to designs are done with consideration to the models of televisions on use. My television is a Vizio which I have had for 4 years. I am not interested in purchasing a new television.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my second roku2 and is perfect companion to my over-the-air antenna. I bought this to watch netflix and hulu, but found slingtv the best app. Roku has the best apps on any streaming device.

Better than the Stick

I received this a few weeks ago. I have been using the ROKU stick for about 2 years now and the ROKU 2 is a lot quicker on responding and it has the shortcut buttons I use the most. I love it. Only draw back is that you have to provide the HDMI cable, it does not come with one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have the Roku 2 and the new streaming stick and both work amazing! The roku 2 is fast and provides great HD picture. It so easy to use I cant imagine it being anymore simple. The remote has quick buttons to my favorite 3 apps and has never had an issue!! I have no need for cable at all with these devices!!!

We bought this not too long ago and were a little hesitant, but it has turned out great! We get almost the same amount of things to watch but for over half the price of our overpriced cable. It is a little different at first, but after you get used to it...definitely not a bad thing to have. It was recommended to our family and we recommend it to our family and friends.
