works great fast batteries should of lasted longer only 2 weeks ,must have been on the shelves ?

great player except..

Its a great streaming player.. easy to use, except the remote doesn't work the way its suppose to. For example… the pause/play button and the fast forward or rewind button either lags or the roku box doesn't read the signal all the time. So trying to fast forward through the beginning credits is frustrating because it often fast forward and won't stop to play even after pushing the play button several times. At first i thought it was a distance issue but I tried using it about 3 feet from the roku box and still had trouble. So this is the only issue I have but other wise great device.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the Roku2 few weeks ago to replace the Roku stick...there is much difference as the quality of 1080 picture much better and the speed is wonderfully faster, as I do not have wait in changing channels or searching through the movie options on a particular channel. I am very very pleased and satisfied!

A great upgrade. Super fast and great remote. Upgrading from our 2012 model was a great decision.

Have only used my Roku 2 for 2 weeks as a conduit to getting Netflix on my television sets. Works perfectly. No problems.
