Kick your Cable to the Curb!

Since the first day I had my Roku 2, I have loved it. So easy to set-up, easy to navigate and easy to receive channels that you want. Yes, you do have to pay for some channels, but you also have trial subscriptions to see if you like them, and very easy to cancel if you are not satisfied. I highly recommend buying it, and I have many friends and family now on the Roku bandwagon! I am also looking to purchase another for my bedroom. Get rid of your cable and take back YOUR TV. Thanks for creating a great product!!

Buggy but gets the job done

I travel for work and take my Roku. Problem is this Roku 2 has issues when I unplug and take it somewhere else. Not just wifi setting stuff, it freezes a lot and the apps won't load randomly. Error messages randomly. Eventually after a few restarts everything works. But it's aggravating. My Roku 3 works like a charm though. It just this 2 that has issues. Need to figure out easier way to enter passwords and text in app.

easy to set up really easy to use. finding channels and searching I like the way my smartphone can be use also

Much better then cable

I have two Roku 2s and love them. There is a lot of free content. It has cut my cost by about $ 80 a month. The Roku 2 is easy to hookup and use. I highly recommend the Roku 2 as an alternative to cable or satellite tv.

Great money saver

I have a ROKU 2 and 3, one for each tv. I have had them and cable internet for three months and am so happy that I do. Along with Sling tv and regular antenna tv, I can watch all the programming that I watched before I switched from satellite.

I bought this about 2 months ago and I have no complaints. I had the original one for 4 years, or so before it died. Then I had a Chromecast as well as the newer chrome cast . Both Chromecast were garbage.

All the channels I want, none I don't

I like all the channels I can get on Roku. The only 2 things I don't like are 1) VUDU no longer takes me to new rentals. It just lumps all the movies together so I don't use Roku to watch VUDU because it takes too long to find what I want. 2) I wish Gaia would just take me to the next episode like Netflix does without having to back up and browse the category but that's probably a Gaia issue, not Roku. Other than that I really like it.
