I had one of the first generation models. This one so much more advanced. I use it all the time infact im thinking of dropping some. Channels on fios.

I was given my Roku as a gift from my children for Mother's Day! I love it - only issue I didn't like was having to run a cord to the back of my Router/Modem, I would prefer for it to work better using it wireless- if you can improve that feature I would consider buying more and getting rid of my Direct Tv.

I bought this a month ago because my Apple TV did not offer Pure Flix. After hooking it up and looking at the features I not only got Pure Flix channel but many other family friendly channels that I enjoy watching. And so much easier to set up and use than my Apple TV without the annoying voice commands. I highly recommend ROKU over the other brands I have tried

I bought my Roku a couple of weeks ago, and have used almost everyday since! Not sure if that's good or bad ;-) My only regret, is not buying it sooner! Honestly, such a great investment!

I have owned an Apple TV for a few years but wanted to subscribe to Amazon Prime. I bought the Roku 2 with the faster processor and am well pleased with it.
