This roku has more options and easier to manage. We have an older version as well and are very pleased with the upgrades. The available themes makes it for a fun interactive player.

This is our second ROKU. We have one here in Massachusetts and one in Florida. It is easy to use and has a great variety of features. We especially like Netflix.

It hooked up to my wireless network easily and quickly. Tons of channels available. I am happy with the choice of Roku thus far. Hopefully a few more live sports channels will be offered soon (Pac 12 Network for a start).

Far Better Than Cable Television.

I have 2 Roku 2 devices, one in living room and the other in my bedroom. I can stream pretty much anything. I got rid of Time Warner Cable tv, but kept the wireless internet for my Roku devices. These devices are just like watching actual tv, I can stream in an instant movies, tv shows, and far more. I Love my Roku 2 online streaming devices. I don't even miss cable tv, since I have so much to watch.
