Great in movie streaming.

I Bought this a week ago. Works well in Streaming movies. Only problem is the rewind and fast forward buttons Don't work.

I bought this a few weeks back and love it. So easy to set up and use. I researched the product before buying because I was leaning towards the apple tv and the reviews were better with the ROKU.

I am giving 5 stars because I have not delved into it heavily yet, but it does work. Picture quality is good in my opinion. There are many channels available, leaving something for everyone. I did add crackle but not amazon prime yet. It will be a while before I cut the cord, but when I went to search for a particular movie, and thought crackle was totally free, the movie cost money, and I could also get this particular movie on amazon prime for a fee. Now, I did add a weather channel, so that takes care of that, but I like my TVLand, so if I could get that, which I cannot, I probably would not hesitate to cut the cord. I am looking at a good outside antenna to go with the roku, and am just in the planning stage of cord cutting. I think when I get ready, amazon prime and Netflix will be on my list, as well as the dish sling tv.

First, let me say I have a Roku 3 and I love it.. And I also have a Chromecast that suuuccckkkss.. I wanted to add a another Roku to our TV family so we got the Roku stick for the kitchen TV.. It didn't respond to the remote so we returned it thinking it was a defective unit and upgraded to the Roku2.. It also didn't respond to the remote and then it dawned on me-duhh, it has to have a direct shot pointed at the Roku2 in order for it to work. The Roku3 remote is not like this-you can change the channel without the Roku in sight.. So bottom line, if you need to mount the Roku stick or Roku2 on the back of the TV or out of sight, it's not going to respond to the remote. However, every Roku is still pretty awesome and probably the best, fastest streaming device out there..We're buying 3 more Roku3's for our house..

Easy to set up - even if you don't know technology

Setup was pretty simple. Took some time to get used to watching "tv" differently. but once you get the hang of it it's pretty cool. as a device itself, the roku is rock solid, and easy to make work with the rest of your system.

This is the second Roku I have purchased. Both one a year ago for like it so much I decide to drop satellite and both one for my main tv viewing. Really like all the extra features and choices it has.

I love my Roku...loved my old one which I guess was obsolete. But this new Roku 2 is awesome, and I have the ethernet cable hooked up also and had a USB here ..I tell everyone to get a Roku. There is nothing but demonic garbage on tv. And I can see my news I want to without shelling out to Comcast. And I'm 76! Thank you Roku.
