Easy to navigate and lots of choices

I purchased it to watch Netflix and Hulu. I was pleasantly surprised by getting so much more. I don't have cable, just Internet and it was well worth the price.

Works Great

I reviewed quite a few streaming options. Narrowed it down to the Roku 2 and Roku 3. Went with the Roku 2. I have been using it for a few weeks now and it works fine. Only 2 downsides
- you have to point the remote directly at the unit or it won't register
- it is somewhat annoying when the system automatically starts a new show when one is finished (I'm not referring to episodes; new shows). It then takes several clicks to get out of it.
All would be nice if the search bar was easier to get to.

I bought my Roku a couple of weeks ago and my son and I love it, we can watch just about anything without using a tablet.

Missing one important feature

Just bought the Roku 2, we have an old Roku 3 and love it. We bought the new Roku 2 because it seemed like the only difference from the new 3 was the headphone jack on remote which we didn't care for. Got it set up and the new remote does not work over the wifi network! That was one of the best features of my old one and we need it to work because it is hidden out of sight. I will be returning it for a 3 but i think it's dumb not to have that feature on every remote.

I was on the fence as to which streaming device to purchase. I read a lot of reviews and decided on the Roku 2 and I'm very happy with it.
