I purchased my Roku2 about 3 weeks ago. I am well pleased with it. It is very easy to install and use. I enjoy movies and it takes me where I want to go. A great device.

no cooking shows only 5 minute segments

The roku is ok but on the cooking channels there are no actual cooking shows only 5 minute segments about a recipe or how to do something. That is annoying to me.

Leaves my Apple TV 2nd gen in the dust!

I upgraded to roku2 after my Apple TV 2nd gen started showing its age. The roku2 is lightning fast compared to the Apple TV. I also like that I can get YouTube Amazon prime and Netflix all on the same device. Remote must be pointed directly at roku to get it to work so conceiled mounting is not an option

I like Netflix much better than cable. I am so glad I made the switch (which was only possible through the addition of the Roku.)

Better processor is worth it

I replaced the Roku stick with a Roku 2 with the newest processor. It is better by far. I wish the sticks were a better product.

I like just about everything but the transport buttons. The seven second rewind takes five seconds to operate. pushing the button three times does not back you up twenty-one seconds. Fast forward and rewind are crude at best.
