What took me so long to get this??

We stopped paying for cable/satellite years ago, and had been using XBox as our primary media device. Joysticks were clunky to use as remotes,the XBox UI is yet another example of how horrible Microsoft's new Metro UI is, and the apps were limited.
Roku fixes all of that, and gives you the ability to search for movies across all providers (Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, etc.).
We are purchasing a second TV soon, and I'm probably going to get one with Roku built in.
Only complaint - sports content is slim to none.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Continually have to unplug it

I bought mine a few weeks ago. I would have never bought it though if I new I would have to unplug it everyone I want to use it. After looking through the troubleshooting info the only cure is buy different adapters to try and see if they work. However several users were unable to fix theirs even after buying the recommended adapters.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this to access shows on my TV. It has done that and more. You will fall in love with it. It's very easy to use.

I don't mind for the past 3 weeks one of the best investments I've ever made I haven't even considering cancelling my cable provider there so many options that Roku provides the only downside is the remote is kind of sketchy sometimes it's a little hard to handle but nothing I can't live with I've definitely recommended Roku quite a few of my friends and family already it would make a wonderful gift
