I have a smart Blu-ray player, that was horrible at playing Hulu and spotty with Netflix when others were using the internet at the same time. But my Roku player plays Hulu pefectly and no more drop out issues when others surf the web.

Luv roku. Have had roku stick for bout a yr & only complaint is that its slow to respond. Soooo..... I decided to try the New improved roku 2 & it didn't disappoint. Very quick & smooth.

Bought this to replace an HD version I had that only had wifi. I wish I had purchased a unit with ethernet the first time, but learned my lesson; video streaming is just not has reliable over wifi. The thing I do not like about this is the remote with the pre-programmed buttons. I would prefer the option to custom program them and maybe provide some stickers for common channels. I have accidentally one in the middle of viewing a program and that is a little annoying. I'd almost assume just get rid of them altogether as they don't add any real benefit for me and the fewer buttons the better, IMO.

I've had my Roku 2 for about 3 weeks, and I love it. Very easy to use, and has 4 buttons for instant access. The two I use the most are Netflix and Amazon Prime.
I already had an Apple TV, but you can't access Amazon Prime with Apple.

I purchased the Roku 2 after using Chrome Cast. I'm so glad I decided to go with the Roku because of its simplicity and features.
