We purchased this as an upgrade from an elderly Roku HD--what a difference! The Roku 2 loads channels very quickly, and playback is prompt and efficient. The colors and images are sharper as well. We continue to be very happy cable-cutters with our Roku!

I bought the Roku 2 as a 71st birthday gift for myself. I chose this unit because I felt it was the right unit for me. I don't know why I waited so long to get on board with Roku. It was so easy to setup, so easy to use its feature, and now I can't imagine not having it in my life.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fast processor, nice features

Recently I've upgraded my TV to UHD 4K, so it was time to upgrade my XD Roku.
Roku 2 is a good choice, selections come on fast, great picture. Should have had the headphone jack in the remote, but Roku has to economize somewhere. Couldn't connect my laptop to the roku through the USB connection, but that is probably prevented because my laptop runs on Ubuntu Linux. All things considered, I'm happy with the purchase.

We just upgraded to the Roku 2 from being very happy with the original Roku 1. But I love it, it's so much faster and clearer. I HIGHLY recommend!

1st venture into streaming. Very impressed with the qiality from ROKU 2.
Only complaint would be the need for more current TV show content. That said the variety is still great !
