Better than expected

We bought this before we moved to florida. Finally got it hooked up and we have been watching shows from the very beginning. So awesome. We love it.

We just bought this and have used it several times. I had no idea there were so many other channels I could get besides Netflix and Amazon Prime, which is the main reason I bought it. So easy to set up and use.

Easy set up to a new world of programming

I bought the Roku 2 in my attempt to cut the cable. Because keeping my local channels was important to me, I purchased an OTA digital antennae. The picture quality was amazing, but I have not been able to find the one spot that allows me to get all the local channels that I want without having to move it around. Therefore I have kept my cable and subscribe to locals only. As for the Roku 2, the amount of programming is amazing the quality of the picture streaming is amazing. The setup is very simple and quick. It is a whole new way of watching TV of which I will have to adjust. Right now I am still searching all my options and find myself passing an hour without really watching anything. But at least I'm learning what is out there for me. Guess I shouldn't be so inquisitive.

Speedy delivery! Easy installation--just had to learn the easiest way to switch from TV to HDMI source, and back and forth. Provides convenient access to Free Speech TV, our key to democratic participation.

We have cut the cord with cable tv, and are now relying on Roku. We have plenty of choices and never run out of things to watch. This is our 4th Roku, for our computer room, and it is perfect for our needs.

Great Box - poor wand

I upgraded from Roku XS to 2 to improve download speed and I am very pleased with that. The wand however needs to be pointed directly at the Roku box to make contact - unlike XS. Angry Birds no longer functions without the $35 special gaming wand - a disappointment giving me a "gotcha" feeling as I really enjoyed the XS version of Angry Birds.
