I upgraded

I decided to try the Roku 2 to see how much better it is than the LT, which I moved into the guest room. I noticed some channels loading a little faster. Entering passwords is a little faster. A couple of live streaming channels that weren`t working with the LT now work. I can`t really tell the difference, but the signal is now 1080p instead of 720.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Roku forever!!

We bought this about 2 wks ago and am loving it. We had the very first model, which held out and still works. We bought this as the older model can no longer be updated. For a product to last 7 yrs as it had, told me that these are very well made. Although we haven't extended our desires to use all the apps, we are very pleased with the ones we've chosen. We have yet to try the Sling app but look forward to it. We originally were going to buy a competitors model, but ultimately chose the Roku for it's convenience and selection of apps. It's so easy to use, basically plug it in, easy setup and then choose the apps you want. We are very pleased thus far!!

More than what I expected!

For my birthday my family bought me a Roku 2 and I love it. I was tired of the costly cable prices and endless cable channels of nothing that I watch. So, with the Roku 2 player I was able to just purchase a local internet service with WiFi and now I have the ability to pay for only the channels I want. Also, there are tons of free channels and music to stream. My son particularly likes the YouTube channel. I am extremely happy with the Roku 2 and have literally cut my TV bill into a third of what it was.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing little device!

I bought the roku a short while ago and I am so happy I did. We recently converted from Direct to Netflix and the like. This device has enabled us access to our favorite shows and movies and it works so well. The device has quick connectivity and was very easy to set up.

I bought this only a week ago and I love it! I can watch T.V series from the very beginning. It is simple to install and use. Going to buy another one for our bedroom and the guest room. Movies are a plus too!!!

Great player but not worth an upgrade

I bought this to replace last years Roku 3. This player is almost identical in every way. I like Roku players but feel that I could have stayed with last years model and been fine.
