I've had a Roku 3 for 6 months and decided to purchase another. After reading that the 2015 version of the roku 2 has the same processor, I purchase it and saved $25 over the 3. Flawless playback and setup that a child could do. Love it.

Great device and easy to install

I wanted more choices in what I could watch and I particularly wanted Acorn TV, so I jumped on board and bought the Roku2. For this non-techie grandma, it was very easy to install. Just plug it in, connect it to the back of your TV and follow the on screen instructions. Very easy.

This is our second Roku. After years of use our original Roku retired so we purchased the Roku 2 2015 model. We are very happy with the options this system gives us and watch shows on HBO Go, Netflix, PBS and Amazon Prime mostly. We are, however, encouraged to try out some of the other many channels available. We chose the Roku 2 instead of the Roku 3 because of the price difference and the fact that we would be unlikely to use the voice recognition. The only glitch is that the "point and click" part of the remote is occasionally slow to respond. Meh! Not a big problem even in this "need to have it immediately" world. Rook 2 was so easy to set up; there were excellent directions along the way.
