Roku 2 like it EXCEPT....

I like almost everything about streamer EXCEPT there is no power off... And each time I get in the bed to watch me some Netflix I get the screen about content unauthorized. So then I have to power off the Roku by unplugging it. This is a pain and I have had to do it EVERY TIME I use it. I know there is no off button so updates can be made easier by Roku but come on why does it keep getting the unauthorized content page. What's the fix for that?

I was encouraged to buy a Roku box a few years ago by a friend. I'm still learning how to use it by playing and exploring its features. My only real criticism is there needs to be a better way to type search for what you want to see. All that scrolling over, up and down is annoying. Why didn't you just put letters on the remote? Scroll typing is the only feature I don't like, but I would still recommend Roku to someone in need of more entertainment options.

Smart TV Not So Smart for YouTube

I can watch YouTube again after the app stopped working on my Vizio TV. Makes me wonder what other apps will stop working. Roku works beautifully with a lot more viewing options.

I had thought the Roku Stick was great, but when I needed another Roku device in the house for another TV I found they had upgraded the Roku 2 which performs the same as Roku 3, and beings I don't need what the Roku 3 offers, I saved money and got the Roku 2. I was amazed at the difference in the responsiveness of this player compared to the Stick, really loving it! Can't wait for the latest and greatest to come out, will definitely be purchasing it and rotating my current devices to other TVs

I just recently upgrade from Roku Stick ( HDMI Version ) to Roku 2 because I had issues with the stick remote control problem lost the connection most of the time and I have the same problem with this one probably I have to return to the store again

Love the app choices

Before buying the Roku 2, I had bought 2 other streaming devices and had to return them both. After getting the Roku 2, I was very impressed with the ease of using it and with the amount of apps and the variety. When I needed to sync my router with my Roku, the quality of customer service I received was excellent and confirmed to me that I had made the right choice.
