Roku 2 - everything you need

I have been playing with this for about 2 weeks and love it. Moving off of Direct TV and the only thing I wish we had more off is sports - but the day is slowing coming to Cable and Satellite providers there days are numbered. Love all the channels / Speed and Quality of the unit. The Wifi connecting has been great with no Pixilation at all. The compactness of the unit makes it easy to travel with as well. I currently own a Apple TV and Roku blows it away - Sorry Apple.

Great Little Box!

We upgraded to the Roku 2 from the original! Love it. The quality is great!! We love the new setup of the descriptions of the show and how it goes from one episode into the other. It has a great look. We did not know what we were missing. And the speed is great too!!

Much faster and better layout

I was using the classic Roku for a long time and it was OK. The Roku 2 load much faster and there are no more buffering problems in the middle of a movie or show.

We have had the Roku 2 for a few weeks now and have been watching it everyday. I was using my PS4 for Netflix and Hulu, but I wanted to be able to stream a wider variety of shows like what the Roku offers.

We bought our Roku after getting tired of plugging our laptop into the t.v. and getting a weird screen (it would cut off the picture on either end...). Also, now I can use my computer while my kids watch the television. I love the variety of shows we can watch (we already had Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, and Netflix...) but now we can listen to Pandora, and watch PBS and even stream t.v. shows with Sling (yay for HGTV!)
It was a great investment!

Needs more file types for media player.

Works great for streaming, but many video files are not in proper format and have to be converted. Not a huge problem, but would make it even more flexible as a media player.
