Easy to navigate.

I bought the Roku2 to replace my Apple TV. It is far superior. It has more app's, It loads faster than the Apple, and is easier to navigate. I highly recommend it.

A Snap To Set Up

We are pleased with our Roku. Connections to the TV and upon connection to the Internet, setting up the Roku was a snap. You do not need to be a technician to get Roku up and running. Instructions are easy to read, clear and easy to follow the step-by-step set up process. The remote is also straight-forward and quick to master.
Finding channels to explore and logging on to subscription services such as AmazonPrime was also straight forward. Our problem now, is that there are so many choices in so many genres that we don't know what to watch first!

Very easy to set up and use

I am so happy with the ease of both installing and using the Roku 2. The remote is so much easier to use than the Apple tv, which I purchased a few years ago. I quickly canceled my expensive cable tv service after installing the Roku, and a week later, I have no regrets.

This is a great product and I'm very happy with it - easy setup, works with WiFi 5GHz, excellent remote, love the free remote app for my iPhone, love the meta-search feature, and source-agnostic access to the broadest variety of streaming content (HuluPlus, Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc.). It works really well, streaming is flawless, and the menus are easy to navigate.
One complaint: Drop the requirement for a credit card when registering the device! I don't like this (it's just one more website that has my credit card info) and I can't imagine that other users like it, either. Either drop it altogether, make it optional, or don't require it until the user actually makes a purchase.

Last week we bought two Roku 2s for two different TVs to keep each TV set-up identical as we are not high tech people. Husband and I love them. Our main purpose was to stream Netflix and save the trip to the video rental boxes. We are tired of the content on television, so this gives us more control over what we select. We are even watching series that have aired on television and enjoying "new to us" programs. Plan to soon cut the cable cord completely.
