I bought the Roku 2 to stream Netflix and Youtube about one week ago and so far it's been working quite well. It's very responsive and lightning fast. In my limited experience with it, I have found that it's worth the money.

The only issue is finding roku channels, well where are they? I bought this roku to get rid of cable and so far all I have seen is a way to pay lots of people instead of paying 1.

Just getting used to the remote. One needs to point it DIRECTLY at the unit ot it won't connect

Easy to setup, good response time. Would have liked to have the mac address easily available. Had to Google to find the "secret" screen to find the mac address.

Plenty to watch

I bought this as a first step to dropping cable. With Netflix, Hulu and all the free channels all I needed is to add off air antenna for news. We love it.

We purchased the Roku 2 to replace our expensive cable! We cut our bill in half basically, and still all the shows we watch and more! Only downfall might be is we don't have a local news channel. But other than that the product works very well. We live in Orlando and have a 35mbps internet connection.
