I have had Roku2 for two weeks now. It is awesome! I would definitely recommend to my friends. If you don't need headphones for listening, Roku2 is the one to get. It is better than Chromecast.

I have had my Roku 1 for several years, and love it so well that I bought a Roku 2 for another tv that I own. The channel selection for both is amazing! I rarely watch "regular" tv now, and would probably drop it entirely if my local channel had a Roku app so I could keep up with current news!

So far i like it. Saved me a ton on cable bills. One problem was it killed HDCP on one of my older hdtv's. But other than that its great!

This is our 3rd Roku - the first and second were the Sticks - one since eventually bit the bullet so I purchased the Roku 2 as a replacement. Better Wi-Fi reception and much more reliable. I am thinking about getting another to put on our 50" in the family room.

Fast, but loaded with ads and not many stations

The setup is very easy, and the devise works really fast. Hoever, I was not expecting ads to be playing everywhere. Also, I was expecting channels, not short clips/snippets-- for example, sure there are TV stations, but they only contain 'top' short clip stories vs. live streaming channel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
