All the features you want to watch programs

This is an excellent player so far. I already have a Roku 3, but needed another for a different room. I purchased the 2 because I did not need the headphone jack and gaming/movement thing especially for the extra money that costs over the 2. The Roku 2 is working just like my 3. Only issue I have is I wish the 2 had a better remote that was not so direction sensitive. Something like the 3 without the headphone jack would be great. Maybe they are keeping them different to entice people to purchase the 3, but the price differential it was just not worth it to me. I can live with it for the money. If you've never had a 3 then you'll never know the difference and so won't be an issue for you.

I absolutely love roku. It has exceed my expectations. It upgraded my cable to digital without the extra charge. My 4 year old son know how to search and play his show and movies he want to see so its tremendously user friendly. Plus i can control roku, netflix, youtube and others from my cell phone and tablet. Awesome.

Not as good as TIVO

With Roku, my wife can't use remote headphones through our TV - she has hearing loss and without the headphones she cannot watch anything through Roku.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
