Some confusing claims

I like Roku. However, when you first get it, many sites claim that they are free, but they are not. If you try to watch anything, you have to run to your computer to sign up before you can watch. Movies are not free on most sites. A few will allow you to watch some movies with commercials for free, but you have to pay for the commercial free versions. It is so difficult to sign up for these sites that I don't bother. It should have on screen sign up. It doesn't.

I bought the new Roku2 Model # 4210R on 05/02/2015 & I'm very please with the purchase . It was easy to setup & works excellent ! . It doesn't have the voice search like the Roku3 has & doesn't have the headphone jack in the remote any more . But that doesn't matter to me . It is fast ! . It is worth the money ! Both the new Roku2 & new Roku3 are good buys ! .. I will be adding the new Roku3 for my other tv .

Excellent Device With A Setup That Is So Easy! Quality Performance At A Real Value! Works Best With Multi HDMI Port Televisions But Can Be Used With A Single Port As Well. Don't Forget A HDMI Cable That Is Sold Separately.

Haven't even had it for a month and we love it! We don't have cable so it's helped with more TV options. Love it. Easy to use!

Great streaming device with fast downloads

I needed a better streaming device than my DVD player which constantly dropped frames and lost audio. The Roku works flawlessly and has added features and options not available with streaming using a streaming capable DVD player.

Significantly faster than my previous LT

Upgraded my LT to newest generation (2015) Roku 2. I've been a Roku user for several years and this is the 3rd generation that I have dealt with. Primarily wanted an ethernet connection, 1080p and faster processor. This unit works much better. Only issue that I have experienced (twice now) is that if it loses it's ethernet connection, it needs to be restarted. Do not have that issue with my other ethernet connected devices (AppleTV, Denon AXR1000, Sony Blu-Ray player, Vonage) in my home theater. Aside from that, I'm happy with the upgrade.
