I have had Roku for a couple of weeks and have enjoyed watching Hulu Plus and HIstory Channel. The programing on these two channels have been worth the purchase. I Only wish there were more free channels that came with the purchase of my Roku.

Much better than the roku stick

I had originally bought the roku stick for my daughter for Christmas. At first it worked ok, but then it started continuously trying to download but would never finish. Two weeks ago I bought the roku 2 ,which does require a HDMI cord, and it works great! ! No waiting or buffering! ! So far this has been such a wonderful thing since we can't run a cable very easily to the room it's in. My daughter loves it!

Great Value and Utility

I bought a roku 3 in 2014, purchased (3) Roku 2 2015 version to use in my 2nd home and as additional viewing station with Slingbox 500. Works very well with the slingbox, don't miss paying a monthly fee on my directv receivers !

A downgrade from our old Roku 2

We are disappointed that the new Roku 2's remote does not have an earbud plugin, so one us us cant watch TV silently. Also the remote must be in line of sight of the Roku to use, and there's a narrower line of sight than the old Roku 2 had.

I had been looking into the Roku and Apple TV for a long time and wish I had bought my Roku device a lot sooner. I'm loving it! Decreasing my cable bill was awesome.
