Im an avid apple user, Phones, computers and Tablets and I chose Roku Player over Apple TV. My Email and web browsing choice is Chrome, yet I chose Roku player over Chromecast. Im not an online shopper and I could care less to talk to gadgets so the Amazon Stick was unnecessary. I purchased a Samsung Smart TV and returned it in favor or a less expensive regular LED TV and use the Roku Player instead.
Pros of the Roku Player:
Most APPs available
Easy to navigate
Easy to mirror from your portable devices
easy to add new APPs
Phone remote APP is great ( Has a keyboard to types onto your television screen) Big disappointment with the Samsung Smart TV in that area)
Plays media from USB 2.0

Welcome Roku -Good Riddance Cable TV

Each visit to my brothers house he was playing something interesting on his TV, a show, movie, documentary or music and I kept asking him about his Roku. I went on line and watched a simple tutorial and ordered the same unit as my brother has (Roku 2 XD) It was simple to set up and access our Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts. The remote is simple but I just added the Roku AP to my smart phone so I'm using it as my remote now and Voice search, this makes it even more simple. I have Nothing negative to report here.

The ROKU is replacing the imbedded WI on my TV and is so much faster. It was very easy to setup and the overall use of Netflix and Amazon prime experience is better that the way it was directly from the TV. Great product, now I'm wishing I could get this unit inside a DVR. Great value too.

With the high cost of cable having the Roku in the house has saved money. Now we have 3 connected and enjoy all the features.

Its incomparable features, ease of use, and ease of setup make it one of the best things to ever happen to Television viewing.
It is integrated smoothly with TV/Movie purchased options, such as Netflix and Amazon Prime. In addition, Roku2 offers over 1,000 channels, many of which are Free of Charge.
Roku2 is worth ever penny!
Its incomparable features, ease of use, and ease of setup make it one of the best things to ever happen to Television viewing.
