This was a gift from my son and I love it!!! I got tired of paying to high of a price for my tv provider and did away with tv. Absolutely love ROKU!!

Bought this after becoming frustrated with my ChromeCast. While a good product for the money, the ChromeCast's smartphone interface is quirky and unreliable. The Roku works much better overall, and the remote is very responsive. Everything loads quickly. The Android app works great, and is especially useful in the dark. Loving it so far!

Roku 2 2015 nice upgrade over previous Roku 2

Dropping the analog connections and adding the Ethernet great upgrade.
I don't need a fancy remote or Angry Birds on my TV so Roku 2 module (2015) is perfect for my wallet.

I would give it 5 stars , but there doesn't seem to be a good way to organize channels. Channels added seem to all go into "My Channels" ..
The ability to throw channels into categories would be great.
It would be nice to have something like a "My Favorites" , Sports, ect ect...
Maybe I haven't dived deep enough into it yet.

Also it would be great if the MLB.TV interface, as well as NHL , was more like that of the Xbox 360. But with that, streaming (with Ethernet) MLB.TV has been excellent. Great picture.
Overall I am satisfied. No cable or satellite for us. All the streaming aps like Neflix, hulu plus, amazon have a nice interface.
This device is perfect for the way we stream our TV entertainment.
Lots of stuff to watch....
But do be aware, channels that advertise free movies/TV episodes, like Crackle, Popcorn Flix, ect ect... will have short commercials.
