Better than the stick

I bought this 2 weeks ago and so far no problems. With the Roku stick the remote control would hardly ever work.this works perfectly every time!!

Roku 2 Model# 4210RW

I recently purchased the Roku 2 Model# 4210RW because my Roku Streaming Stick Model# 3500RW and my Roku 3 Model# 4200R were both knocked out by lightning that hit a tree next to our home. I was a little worried about the newer Roku 2 Model#4210RW would not be as fast or as good as my older model of Roku 3, but was surprised that it was just as fast and good at a lower price. I paired my old Roku 3 remote that had the headphone jack to the Roku 2 and could listen privately without bothering anyone. I liked all of these Roku streaming devices. The Roku Streaming Stick was a bit slower to load than the others, but I didn't have much of any problems with any of these products.

Excellent program and App variety

I didn't realize how much variety this system offered! Slowly but surely, my cable service is going away! One thing keeps it from 5 stars and that's having to scroll through channels. I even got a high quality, well known brand universal remote but still can't just punch in channel numbers. Maybe it's me? Oh! Another plus, I can use my iPad as a remote too!
