I love the product and access to multiple TV and movies channels. I only reason I did not give Roku 2 a 5 star rating is lack of access to view full versions of MSNBC News and not just clips.

I'm not happy with my Roku. You have to pay extra money to watch the channels. It is not updating soon.

I was on the fence about buying a Roku, but I'm so glad I did! We have a smart DVD player that's very slow, and I was afraid I'd have yet another slow device. Not so! And, it was really easy to set up using our receiver (rather than directly to the TV). Lightning fast, great apps - I'm sorry I waited so long.

Innovative concept

The Roku provides a new way to be entertained. It's system of "channels" makes for a personal experience. The Roku does not provide much in terms of explaining to get the most out of it and its search functionality could use a major upgrade, it is very tedious to use. I wish you could add profiles so other family members could use it and make easier for them to get to what they want. Overall it is worth the buy.

I have 3 older ROKU devices and purchased this one for the faster speed and new features. I'm very happy with this ROKU 2 device. It is more user friendly.
