This is my second unit. The other is in my bedroom. Both work as advertised. I love being a cord cutter, and if you have an older TV this is definitely the way to go.

Easy to setup which is important to senior citizens like me. Also much easier to operate than the blue ray DVD lash up in my den (roku in bedroom). Western movie fan so would like to have that genre available. Nothing to do with your product....just saying!!

After reading the mixed reviews, I was worried that this product may be difficult to install or I'd encounter reliability problems. I installed it without difficulty. I have not experienced reliability problems, so far. But it is too early to say since I've had the Roku 2 for just about a week. For future improvements, I wish for an IR remote control.

Better Than Samsung TV SmartHub

I bought my Roku 2 after continued frustrations with the streaming features of my Samsung "Smart TV." The Roku is much more reliable and responsive, and with a greater selection of content, much of which is free.

Happy to Have Made the Switch

Once we got a good Internet service that allowed reasonable streaming, choosing to go with Roku 2 wasn't a difficult decision. So far, we use most Netflix and Amazon Prime, and we've been happy with the results. Not a buffering problem in sight.
