easy to use

bought this for my wife because i got rid of cable
she can barely use a remote but loves this
this is the best entertainment invention since dvd
only thing that would make it better is that if they put a favorite programs list that would go to that program that may be on one of the more obscure channels. some individual channels have their own like netflix but it would be great if there was a main list

Great idea poor Canadian content

Bought it expecting great things but quickly found out that the Canadian content is next to nothing. As usual the US gets all the good stuff.

looking for value tv

I recently bought a Roku as all of the reviews and recommendations from various sites said Roku 2 was the best. I have used youtube, Netflix, and some free sites and have had great success. Don't know what I would get rid of with my cable tv yet, but I'm hopeful...

This is the best gadget out there if you are trying to avoid costly cable fees, and want to stream to your TV. With all of the Roku channel options available, a Sling TV and Netflix account I have more than enough viewing options.

I just got the Roku 2 about a week ago and am still learning how to use it to my advantage. I really like the option of choosing what I want to watch instead of paying for channels that I do not watch and channels that air programs that I am totally opposed to. I signed up for Amazon Prime and have already enjoyed some free movies plus reasonably priced ones. I also love that there are many free Christian channels available--PTL my favorite!
