Good unit for the price.

I own both a Roku 2 and a Roku 3. The Roku 2 is slower in loading videos and needs to be reset every couple of days. Not sure if this clears out the memory but it does help in the load times. The remote is not as good of quality as the remote to the Roku 3. The buttons seems to stick quite often and gets to be somewhat annoying. If I had to do it over again, I would spend the extra 20 or so dollars for the Roku 3 unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the roku 2 a few weeks ago and I am happy with it .I combine sling tv, Netflix, and hulu plus and get all the channels and shows I could want.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love it. Especially like how you can search and it shows you the free or lowest price while also showing you other options for what you are hoping to find.

Our third Roku.
We bought it to replace our XBox 360 upstairs. We love the XBox 360 as a gaming platform, but it always takes several minutes to get a television program started (wait for XBox to start, login to XBox 360, follow menu options for entertainment).
The Roku channels for Netflix and Hulu Plus aren't quite as pretty as the XBox 360 applications, but they are much faster to get going and just as easy to use. I don't have much television time, so I want to spend as much of it as possible actually watching television.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I pruchased this because I don't have a cable box and am tired of using an Xbox for Netflix only. Now that I have this I can watch Netflix FX ESPN and sooo many more!!! If you don't have one you need to get it now !
