My old HD started to die, so I replaced it not knowing anything about this newer model. Wow! The improvements are exactly what I wanted. The ability to run my binge watches automatically and the easily seen icons are great!

We bought the Roku 2 as an additional unit to our household. This newer version is faster as we are using an Ethernet connection on the new Roku and picture is a lot sharper. The Netflix, Amazon and Sling TV buttons are great, one click and there you are ready to watch whatever selection you desire. We haven't used the Radio one click button much but if Radio is your thing BAM one click ready to listen to your favorite tunes. We installed the older Roku in a different room, love it.

Love the new features!

I have had a Roku for about 5 years and really liked it. A month ago I wanted to see what was new with Roku ... what might be different from my old one. One feature that I love is that it now allows Netflix profiles! I love that I can look through my list of favorites types of shows, and my husband or other family members have their list. This is a great added feature! I also like that when I'm watching a series the Roku moves onto the next episode after several seconds. I don't need to do anything! Another great feature! I also like the look of the Netflix screen. The whole package was well worth the upgrade! I highly recommend Roku 2!

Setup Menu

I found everything great with my ROKU 2. There is one thing you should change on the set-up menu. Where it asks for the password on my router when I input that it would not accept it. what it really wanted was the network security key. Therefore please change the language to read password or network security key. It didn't take me long to figure out what you really wanted.

Replaced our Roku1 with Roku2 last week and it has been an incredible! No buffering or lag-time. Instant on with fantastic quality picture and sound! We plugged it into our LG Home Theatre - awesome sound and high quality experience!
