Too bad about the remote

The Roku player appears to work fine after it is set up. However, the remote is a considerably cheaper model than my original Roku player, lighter smaller, and the buttons do not work as well. As all navigation happens with the remote, this detracts from the Roku experience.

We decided to get rid of our cable after purchasing our first Roku years ago. We now have 3 roku machines in our home and have never once missed the cable! We can watch all of our favorite programs at anytime! It is a wonderful device and we can't imagine ever watching tv with any other device .

I talked about getting a Roku for months. So glad my daughter bought it for me for my birthday. It is the best gift I ever got! It is simple to install and works great. I'm so done with cable.

Its been around one month now, and I am happy with the performance.
It would be good if they can add internet browsing also, so that we can enjoy some stuffs those are not available via apps.

Replace Apple TV with Roku 2

I have a Roku 3 and version 1 or 2 of Apple tv. Both the performance and the connectivity of the apple tv were challenges. So for my second tv, i bought a Roku 2. Easy to install, picture is crisp and has good connectivity. Lots of content.my wife can even use the remot and interface.
