Lots and lots of channels to choose from!!

I tried the Apple TV unit out because I wanted something different to put in my living room as I already have Roku's in my bedroom and garage but after I saw what it had to offer I took it back and exchanged for the Roku. There really isn't any other streaming device that can compare!!!

I bought the Roku 2 without the speaker remote. Thought it was available on this model but apparently not. I am quite pleased at the quickness of the Roku 2 unit. You do have to subscribe for any of the premium channels or accessories.

Poor getting it started

Just bought this and only used twice. Hoped it would entertain Mom while she is in bed recouping from surgery. It takes forever to start and find the wifi. Then we have to push the buttons on the remote multiple tries or get within 3 feet of the roku for it too work. I think I either got a bad unit or if this is just a useless product. BUMMER!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been streaming television for awhile and did look at all the available for streaming television and found the the Roku -2 to the best for what I want.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great until it quit working with netflix and Pando

Good while It lasted. Took it on a vacation and will not work with Netflix at the vacation home. Also cannot connect remotely to my Tablo.

Love it, except for...

I love everything about my roku 2, except the remote doesn't seem to respond very well. After trouble shooting it , all we can figure is the sensor is very small and it has to be in just the right place, which isn't very big.
