Helped us cut cable!

While the interface is not the sexiest in the entire world of various media platforms it certainly does enable us to cut the cord from cable companies. I wish there was more diversity and channels. And there is a lacking technical immediacy and choices.

I have only used this for a week, but I am already a big fan. I needed help from a friend for the initial installation, but after using it only a few times, I am already proficient! My only complaint is that I wish it were easier to put a title into "Search" to find a movie.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Still can't cut cable

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and unless we want to watch a movie, we don't use it. Very disappointed in the "Free" choices - as usual, most of the channels we thought we could use it for have a fee attached.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

can't turn off Netflix autoplay

I wouldn't have mentioned or, but roku kept bugging me to write a review. On Netflix it automatically plays the next show in a series. The is no option to turn this off. There should be.

We're enjoying our Roku 2. It has so many more features than our old streaming box. We're still learning all that's there.
