Buy this and a dumb TV

great way to avoid overpriced cable service.
Lot's of Apps, and more added all the time. Instead of buying a 'smart' TV, save a couple hundred, buy a dumb TV and a ROKU.
The only thing missing is HBOnow

Upgrade from Roku 1 to Roku 2

I recently upgraded from Roku 1 to Roku 2. The app features of the Roku 2 provide a more user friendly platform. The only downside I've noticed thus far is the RF technology in the Roku 2 remote is lacking relative to the Roku 1 remote. I actually prefer to use the Roku 1 remote with the Roku 2 device.
Going to Roku 2 is definitely worth the cost!!

I've only had the unit for a little over a week and am learning the different ins and outs. I like everything that I seen and the ease of operation. Have not gotten very deep into everything that is there.

Great for cable cutters nice interface easy to use , lots of Chanel's great as an addition to your system ,Or stand alone stable WIFI all it needs now is the ability to pick up local broad cast channels and you have it made

I really like my Roku but can you please let hulu plus know that when they are running a series could they please let their customers know if series is still active or not and some kind of announcement when new episode arrives.

Very easy to set up on the HDMI channel of the tv. The remote is a little finicky, but nothing I can't deal with.

Fast and dependable

The processor is quick and we haven't seen an issue with it having to stop play and then reload. We love Roku 2 it is a solid product and a must have for a cord cutter (non-cable user).
