Had the streaming stick first, the extra money is well worth it for the roku 2. It's speed alone is worth the difference in price. It's a little annoying that you have to point the remote at the player but downloading the remote app fixes that issue!

I've not had much experience with my new Roku player but so far I'm loving it!! I am a bit disappointed in the many channels that are free only for 30 days I am hoping that I can check them out one at a time and not that I must check them all out within 30 days of my purchase. I am not a cable subscriber so having this Roku 2 gives me much more to watch.

Great variety of apps and games. The remote can be finicky at times. However, if you download the remote app on your phone, it eliminates that problem. The only other feature I could want is a built in tuner for over the air channels. This way I have only one TV input that I would ever need.

I am very pleased that I purchased my Roku. I can watch so many films and series I had wanted to see. It is so much fun looking for old and new entertainment. I tell everyone about it, what an incredible low cost way to be entertained. thank you so much.

I have the stick version ,seemed a bit slow upgraded to version 2 replacing a chromcast device. Could not be more pleased faster smother . I stream a lot of acorn.tv british movies seems much better now .Am quite pleased

New Roku 2 - Terrific!

I took advantage of Roku's offer to upgrade to the new Roku 2. This one has the option of an ethernet cable (which I use). The previous version which was wireless only worked fine but this one is much better and faster. Very satisfied.
