This is my first phase of eliminating a monthly cable bill. I wish I would've bought it a long time ago. The variety is awesome.

Has pros and cons

We have had Rokus since they first came out and this is our 3rd one. I like that it has faster download time since we can only upgrade to so much speed with our Internet provider. What I don't like is that when you are watching a series in Netflix, it automatically wants to start the next one and you have to get out of it before it does - kind of annoying. Other than that, we will always continue using Roku and never pay for cable again!

Works superb, purchased it for Sling, and yes it works wonderful. Really happy with its IR remote, Works so fast and I will definitely recommend it.

I got the Roku 2 when my husband disconnected the cable. It works really well for us. We have a Netflix and Hulu account, so we are able to stream shows and movies. I have a Pandora account and am able to stream music. There's lots of free channels, not quite as mainstream as cable but good. There's also an option to purchase certain channels monthly. There's even a usb port that we use to plug in an external hard drive to watch additional movies that we own. I like it much better than the WD Live Box that we also have. The Roku is much faster in loading.

This is a great product!! My first one was a Roco stick, wasn't real happy with it. Took it back and got this one real happy with it. It's has good wifi and streams fast. Do your self a favor spend a little more and get the Roco 2. You won't be disappointed.
