Our 3rd Roku box - love it

We have 2 of the original Roku boxes, and I just bought a Roku 2 (because I don't need the headphone jack on the 3). Works great, excellent selection of channels and really easy to connect and get up and running, even for a technophobe like me! We have tried other "boxes" that tout similar facilities, but none of them are as easy or intuitive as the Roku - we are actually using them on pretty new Samsung Smart TV's because they provide a much better interface than the built in Smart functions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I do love most of the features of the Roku, however you are unable to turn it off unless you unplug it. Hate that!

Easy to use!

Bought this a few weeks instead of getting cable TV. It's very intuitive and easy to use, and we love the search feature, where you can search by name, keyword, or actor, and it will suggest choices based on which services you already have a subscription to. Def a great buy and worth every penny!

Roku 2. Should have bought the Roku 3. The price was right and far better than subscribing to cable tv. Huge money saver and choice viewing unlike cable tv packages. I get to choose what I want to see. Cable tv is obsolete.

Smarter than my last 2 smart TVs

I have had my1st ROKU (3) or two months. I bought a second ROKU (2) last week.
Yesterday I suggested to my GF that she buy a ROKU (2), before buying a new TV. She will not be buying a smart TV. We love the smart phone apps. Hers is an I-Phone mine a Samsung Galaxy g5. The ONLY issue is there is NO browser app. She is trying to find out if she can cancel COX cable.

First miracle = I set it up by myself. I am not a techi and am so proud. Secondly, we love it. Now my little one can even pick out movies easily. Highly recommend!
