I must admit I have not used my Roku player that much - nothing wrong with it, just too busy trying to catch up with all my DVR recordings! However, every time I have used it, it has worked perfectly. I found it extremely easy to set up and operate, easier than anything else connected to my TV, DVR, or service. I have been very impressed with how simple it is, even for a new user. I'm also so glad that whenever I get an e-mail from M-GO or Roku, whatever they're offering is still compatible with my model. Thanks!

Always used a blue ray player to stream but not anymore! The Roku is so much faster and has a better interface. Buying another in a month.

I'm so glad I bought the ROKU 2. The setup took about two minutes, I choose ROKU 2 after reading all the right ups on how ROKU 2 is just as good as ROKU 3, that there wasn't much difference between the two except the price. It's very easy to use because you only need to learn how to navigate a few buttons for it to work. So, it's very user friendly, not like the cable remote. I've already recommended it to several of my family members and I'm sure that they're going to buy the product too.

Why the Roku 2

Roku line of media steaming players perform well, are easy to use and are competitively priced. The search feature looks across media outlets (Amazon, Netflix, etc) for titles and costs. This is a great tool and allows me to see titles I may have already subscribed to on Netflix or HBO to Go rather than paying again for on Amazon. I don't believe the other products on the market do this. the Roku 2 works the same as the Roku 3 buts come without the enchanced remote. We use our iPhone with the Roku apps as our advanced feature remote. So don't pay the extra money for the Roku 3. The only drawback, a minor one, is that I can't access my iTunes content through this device.

Switched to OTA television and a Roku2 and love it. We use our Roku for Sling TV, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime streaming and it is flawless!

Easy to use!!!

I bought this three weeks ago and am so glad I did! It is easy to set up and use and gives me access to many things I would otherwise have to pay much more for through cable or satellite dish. This way, when my free, antenna TV doesn't offer something I care to watch, I can easily find interesting or enjoyable things to watch via my Roku. Sometimes I just don't feel like reading or listening to music and this fills the gap nicely.
I would recommend this to a friend!
