Excellent quality, still needs more for sports

We finally ditched Directv and have found the Roku 2 to be better in most areas. The picture quality is extraordinary better, it's more cost effective for all of the channels we get and the processor is fairly quick. The real downside that we've noticed in the two weeks that we've had it is the sports coverage. We purchase the mlb.tv subscription which let's you watch any game live that you want, unless that game is determined to be your local team via isp address, in which case you can't watch it until 90 minutes after the game ends. So, really, the games that you would want to watch, have an awful delay. I understand this is more to do with mlb.tv, but being able to watch live sports is so important to us that we most likely would have stayed with directv just to be able to watch those games live. Overall though, it's a great product and would definitely recommend to a non-sports fan.

Just bought this a week ago and easy to use however tricky when using because you have to point remote directly at receiver.

The Roku is everything I expected and more! I feel like I find a new feature or app everyday on the device. It is so well designed! All the channels are clear and great quality. This was definitely worth the money. This will save me so much on the cost of cable and I will get to watch everything that I normally do!
