A pretty good product

I've had the Roku 2 for a week now. I watch some tv. My wife and son don't watch any tv, by choice. Cable is too expensive. This is a great alternative. I get to watch my favorite programs, Mike and Mike on ESPN2 and TWD on AMC. The jury is still out on whether I am able to watch any NFL games, and, having BIg Ten Network as an option would get this gadget 5 stars.

Love that is is compatible with Netflix "profiles"

I have 5 Roku's in my house all first "generation", bought this so I could view profiles on Netflix...LOVE IT! Nothing like ROKU!! :)

I own Apple TV, Bu Ray Players, Smart TV's, Gaming Consoles and I by far think the Roku has the best navigation, content, and processing speed on the market.
I got the Roku 2 because its just as fast as the Roku 3 but doesn't focus on gaming since I don't have any interest in that. Its very quick at processing inputs and operates seamlessly. There are a ton of channels and they have all the essential ones needed.
I like to watch anime and I like that ROKU has the FUNIMATION streaming app and allows you to customize your channels and backgrounds. The Apple TV format is not very customizable and you are very limited on channel selection .
I like that Roku also includes a free rental with your purchase and many free trials. I feel like they give you a lot of value and care about you being involved in there ecosystem.
I would go with the ROKU 2 hands down.

Best Investment!

We did not have cable hooked up to the tv in our spare room. We were trying to find the least expensive way to be able to watch tv. This has been the best investment we have made. We love it!!

A lot to learn

We have had Roku 2 for about a month now. There is a learning curve of trying to find all the relevant channels that i want to relate to. The other thing is that we did not realize that there are very few live channels for free. That being said we are still learning and continue to enjoy finding new interests

Second Roku purchase. Without a smart TV, this provides access to streaming. Looking forward to continued unbundling in order to cut the cable!

It's been about a month since I purchased my Roku & I love it! I am a freshman college student and I attend Ohio state university and decided to get a apartment with my friend and instead of paying for cable we chose this and we have to say that it is way better than cable.
