Don't Bother With Any Other Platform!

We recently bought a house that has a media room. The previous owners were kind enough to leave the 106-inch screen so we just had to fill in the projector, sound system and movie watching platform. We bought a nice Epson projector and were considering a PS 4 or XBox One platform for movie watching. My stepson and his wife visited recently and he suggested a Roku, citing that we would probably never play games on either gaming platform, so why get one? So we found a nice Yamaha surround sound system and opted for the Roku 2. Sooooo easy to use and setup. We use Amazon Prime, Netflix, and CinemaNow for movies. A great product!

I can't rave enough about the freedom and versatility of the Roku. I believe this is the wave of the future for television. Loads of content when I want it, not on someone else's schedule. It's the way TV should be!!!

One month owner of the Roku2 impossible to be happier ...wish i had bought this the first time someone told me about Roku lost a lot of money by waiting needlessly funding cable via Dtv...do yourself a favor buy one put the difference saved from cable bill in the bank and let Roku pay for a vacation!!!!!

When I purchased the roko 2, I needed to drive back to the store to purchase a connecting cable to connect to my smart TV. It would be better to inform customers in during the initial purchase process.

System works well only downfall is the lack of power button and missing and option to stop streaming after a specific time period to prevent excessive data usage if left on accidentally.
