I'm so happy with the product that I recently purchased another R2 unity for my living room. Connected to the BOSE Cinemate 130, the buffering capacity plus Apps grid really boosted my new home theater system to the roof.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Unit

Purchased the Roku 2 unit for connecting a non-smart screen TV to the Internet. Researched the unit extensively and found the Roku to be the best unit on the market. The only reason I did not give the unit 5 stars was due to the confusion as to why a credit card is required to connect the unit. If a clarifying reason would be given up front, (stating card is required for purchases of pay for view products), the unit would be 5 star!

My cable was out & thought this would allow us to watch live tv...it doesn't!

I love my roku 2, I previously had the HDMI streaming stick, but I kept having issues with it. This one works perfectly, and I don't expect any problems. Overall, I think it's a better quality product.

It took me a while before I finally got to buying my Roku 2 and boy am I happy I did. I does everything I would ever want a player to do. I am very happy that I ended up with the fantastic Roku 2 player.

I am so in love with this Roku player! I was having connectivity issues trying to just stream on my smart tv, which this eliminated. And the options that come that are free are just amazing! I may never need to leave my house again.
