Purchased the Roku 2 recently, my second Roku that I have in my home. My first purchase was a Roku XS a few years ago. I have found Roku to have available many more viewing selections/options that I have not been able to find on other streaming players.

Ease of use and setup is outstanding. Once one realizes there is no systemic shutdown ( less power used than a night light), all controls are instinctive, and are easily used by a child.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible Device

Our house owns (1) Roku3 and (2) Roku2's. The Roku3 is such a great device I cannot say enough about it. The (2) Roku2's were bought at the same time in an effort to save a couple of bucks in other rooms. I wish now that I would've spent the extra as these players are slow, lag often, freeze and crash repeatedly. I recommend paying the extra for the Roku3, you'll not regret it.

Purchased a Roku 3 for the Living room. Has been great. Purchased a Roku 2 for my bedroom, awful. Works approximately 50% of the time.
