Not asgood as our origonal ROKU

With our old unit if you were watching a TV series when you got to the end of an episode it stopped. With ROKU 2 It goes right into the next episode and it takes about 4 button pushes to stop it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The thing has no instructions with it. There are also none when you turn it on. Am trying to figure it out and get rid of all the sites I do not want or need to make it easier to use.

I'm using this on my TV in the living room so I can watch streaming football and other sports games. It is working great. I'm also going to use it on my tailgating TV to get games to watch while we tailgate. Haven't tried that yet, next week we'll know.

Roku Rocks!

I have been using the apps on my old Samsung DVD player to watch mainly Netflix. The problem with it is that it is bulky, which makes it a hassle to move from room-to-room, and it has limited memory and will not allow me to download many more apps. The Roku 2 player is small, portable and so easy to use. I now have access to hundreds of apps, most of them free, that allow me to watch all kinds of shows and movies both old and new of almost all genres. Why run out to one of those "red boxes" on a rainy day when I can order a movie on a channel on my Roku in minutes from my living room sofa? Streaming is fun and so is Roku!

Good Graphics, Poor Information

Bought this model to replace an older Roku set. While this newer version has a lot of good graphics and shows nice pictures of each show, it doesn't tell me anything about the TV episodes like the older version. Telling me Season # and episode # doesn't help. What I want to know is what is episode # all about.
