Roku 2 is super glitchy. I originally had the basic Roku and the remote dropped and broke rendering it unrepairable. I upgraded to the Roku 2 thinking it would be better than the basic, but I was wrong. If there isn't a direct signal near the box, it will keep searching for a signal. When I switch from one movie or show to another, it automatically goes to closed caption and I need to manually shut it off. Every time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just bought my Roku 2, love all the channels that you can get on it, there is a wide variety of shows but was hoping for a few more of my favorites. So hope they will keep adding. I do wish that once you pick the channels to add to your line up that you could somehow group them together

I am a 73yr. old women with no youngster around to help with electronics, so was a little worried about doing it. It was so easy and when I did get stomped on something there was instant help. Got it all done by myself and would recommend this to anyone. Also very is to use. If I can set this up anyone can

problems 1 week after I got it

This was great for the 1st week. Now I'm getting a purple screen whenever I try to watch something that says "not authorized". I did some research and tried the recommended fix - still doesn't work. Nothing changed on my end. VERY FRUSTRATED. And nobody to turn to for a fix that actually works. NOT how I wanted to spend my time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
