Very Disappointed

I bought this version to replace an older model. Very Disappointed since this one should be several times faster, but lacks in every way (speed wise) except for picture quality.

Great when it works

So far it never works without me unplugging it and replugging it first or switching my hdmi cable around. Even bought new router with no improvement. Very disappointed. Plan to return if doesnt get better.

Good product, remote not so hot

I bought this product 2 weeks ago. Set up was easy. Enjoying binges of favorite programs. Remote doesn't respond every time we push buttons. I hate that it has no way to rewind to catch a missed word. When you rewind and cross an ad, you have to watch the entire ad. You cannot fast forward. ads. I will get another for bedroom.

Horrible waste of money!

This product does not play seamlessly as proclaimed. If you like to watch "loading - please wait" then this is for you. Even if you get a channel to work, you still get the same message. Does not connect to all Internet providers. And with the cost of the channels, you might as well get cable TV. It is cheaper.

Roku 2 vs. Chromecast

I purchased my Roku 2 to watch Amazon Prime content. Pluses over Chromecast: easier access to more content. I love that I can watch any CBS news program whenever I want. Easier rewind/fast forwarding. Much better movie rental including in theater independent films. Easier content search across all subscribed channels.
Minuses: Can't view video from any site via a free app. Easier to scroll through OTT apps on my iPad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Will not connect wirelessly

This is the second Roku I have purchased. The first one works just fine. The newer version will not work unless it is connected with a Ethernet cable. (Error Code 014.50) I bought it to put on a TV that is not close to my router. It is useless to me if it will not connect wirelessly. I have search the internet for solutions but have not found one yet. After 10 to 12 hours wasted trying to fix the problem I am about ready to just take it back to the store I
